My Story

Mo is the founder of Shades of Cool, LLC and started the business in 2004 after retiring from Master Halco, where he managed the Kansas City branch for 30 years.  His years of management has lead him to build Shades of Cool to the success it is today

Starting the company, Mo was a one man show performing duties in sales, customer service and installing awning and shades.  This experience has given him unsurpassed knowledge of the awnings and shades business.   Over 18 years he has gained unvalued experience that he is able to use with the customers and ensure you get the best products and it is installed correctly. 
 

Mo continues to help with sales as well as serve as an expert in installation and service.  He manages and teaches or sales staff and works with the installation team to ensure everything goes smoothly from sales to install.   Mo's experience is invaluable to Shades of Cool team..
